UFDC 2004 Maggie Phillips Rohmer 8” Doll kid leather & Porcelain San Diego

This is a limited edition doll made by doll artist Maggie Phillips for the 2004 UFDC convention luncheon event. SHES BEEM KEPT INSIDE HLASS CSBINET IN EXCELLENT condition. Note: the back of her dress has a fastener, but the shoulder straps are folded down to fit and pinned. That is how she came. This expertly produced 8” bisque doll is a reproduction of an antique Leontine Rohmer poupee that would have been made between 1857-1880. She has a lamb’s wool curly wig, painted blue eyes, beautifully detailed facial features and pierced ears. She is jointed at neck so that her head swivels on her kid body. She has porcelain lower arms and legs and molded painted shoes. All items come from smoke free, pet free home.
