14″ ANTIQUE EFFANBEE ANNE SHIRLEY DOLL COMPOSITION NICE ORIGINAL CONDITION
Listed is a darling antique doll marked Anne Shirley Effanbee, made circa 1940. This doll measures 14″ and has a composition head and jointed body that is in excellent condition. She is tightly strung and has nice original coloring/finish with no breaks/wear. Her original mohair wig is full with no thin spots and her blue eyes open/close easily. (right eye missing lashes) She is wearing a cute red print cotton dress with panties and socks/shoes. I believe the clothes to be original and they are in nice condition, clean with no odors.

Item: This is a vintage composition Anne Shirley doll created by the Effanbee Company of the United States. She is marked, “EFFANBEE U.S.A.” on both the base of her head & her back. She has blue/green sleep eyes & full eyelashes. She wears a pink rose print dress that is lined & trimmed with white lace. She also wears white panties, ivory socks & shoes. Size: About 18″ tall. Condition: She is in good vintage condition but does have some crazing on her face & legs. Her stringing is tight.
