Item: This is a vintage composition Anne Shirley doll created by the Effanbee Company of the United States. She is marked, “EFFANBEE U.S.A.” on both the base of her head & her back. She has blue/green sleep eyes & full eyelashes. She wears a pink rose print dress that is lined & trimmed with white lace. She also wears white panties, ivory socks & shoes. Size: About 18″ tall. Condition: She is in good vintage condition but does have some crazing on her face & legs. Her stringing is tight. This is a restoration project that I never got around to. The Bad things: Her eyes are crackled, paint is flaking from arms, leg joints, and seat, Her foot has been glued back on, Her body has been glued back together along the seams, and she is missing part of a toe.
