We added a nice suede cloth body like we use on our reborns, that is slightly weighted so it isn’t too heavy for little ones to carry and care for. Since the lengthy, time consuming painting step was already done and the hair was painted, eliminating the need for the tedious process of rooting real hair, as well as the eyes being pre-set, it is possible to offer a finished doll that is “reborn” (like Mom’s) at a much reduced price.
